Join Professor TK The Chemist for tutoring!

Professor Shipp is affectionately known to her younger scholars as Professor T.K. the Chemist, but on the collegiate level, her students know her as Professor Shipp.  She has provided chemistry tutoring to high school and college students for over 20 years.  If your child is needing help this semester, do not wait until the 1st test.  Studies show that when students prepare ahead of time, they will feel more confident about the material prior to the test.

Professor Shipp will tutor your child in the comfort of your home virtually by using a Web Conference Video Link.  Once you book your session, Professor Shipp will email you all of the details.

At the end of each tutoring session, your scholar will be provided with a copy of the video session, if needed, so they can go back and watch it again.  They can also use the video in preparation for any upcoming tests.

Your child will be able to screenshare their notes, handouts and any other materials that their teacher has provided to them.  I will also screenshare documents they will need during our tutoring session.  I will also have a whiteboard available to work out problems online.  Your scholar will be able to ask questions during this session and feel comfortable knowing that they don't have to stumble and wonder if they understand the material.  They will be confident when they take their next quiz or test.

The rates for our services are as following:

Tutoring as needed:  $60.00/ hour

4 hours per month:  $200/month, ($50/session) (Meeting once a week)

8 hours per month: $360/month, ($45/session) (Meeting twice a week)

We all need a Squad of Friends that help us succeed. If you refer a friend, then you will earn a reward. For each referral, you can receive free tutoring. 

Here’s how it works:

If you are an existing customer and you refer a new customer, you will earn Referral Credit towards your account. If you refer a new customer, you will earn Referral Credits which will be applied at the beginning of the first billing cycle of the new month. To receive any referral credit, the referring customer’s account must be current and in good standing. The referring customer will get an amount equivalent to one hour of tutoring. There is no limit on the number of referral credits a customer can earn. If a customer has successfully made more than one referral in a month, the balance of credits will be applied within that subsequent monthly billing or the following month, whichever comes first. You could potentially earn free tutoring, the more you refer.
